Usually, if the ticket wait time keeps expanding the automation bot will come in and mark the ticket resolved without giving the proper answer you were seeking. When Blizzard issues an account penalty it is usually specific to that License (WoW1, WoW2, Diablo 3, etc.). Other licenses you have on your Bnet should not be impacted
