So it actually is possible to find a horse with more than one stat at 5. In my opinion speed is best though, so go for the 2/5/3 horse. Tame the herd leader. You'll know you have a 5 speed if you see 3 spurs
Can you rename horses or release them into the wild?
If you collected horses in BotW after starting TotK you will not be able to collect them in the new game. When you reach limit of 5 and get a new horse you can release a horse to keep your new one, but I have no idea if there is a way to change names or release a horse you already Fast Travel with your Horse? I've been playing the game for about 10+ hours in total and have no qualms, it is amazing EXCEPT for the fact that your horse does not seem to fast travel with you, even if you do it while mounted.
