The My Book does not have an Ethernet port, so I connected the HDD to the router via USB. The router doesn't recognize the USB and after searching on Verizon support forums I found My Gb WD My Book does not spin up anymore. The drive just clicks. I opened the case, removed the standard 3,5" SATA HDD and pugged it into a desktop. The drive works flawlessly. Then I plugged a small 2,5" SATA HDD into the empty WD case and it works.
