This is how you change the oil on a rancher , 3 quarts for 2 wheel drive and quarts for 4 wheel drive Once clean i put a little bit of oil on the shaft to allow the new seal to slide easily. I also used gasket maker on the seal housing to ensure a good seal. Slide new seal in place. Let sit for 24 hrs and fill the bike with oil. You should be good to go. It's not a lot of oil and only seems to appear after riding.
