Phillip Pranis Obituary. SAUGERTIES – Phillip A. Pranis, 81, of Catskill View Circle died Friday, December 8, at his residence. Born March 30, in Brooklyn he was the son of the late Alexander and Evelyn Pranis. A veteran of the US Navy he served during the Vietnam War William W. “Boo” Schaffer, 91, of Main St., died Sunday, October 22, at the Golden Hill Health Related Facility in Kingston. Born November 15, in Malden N.Y. he was the son of the late William W and Edith Schaffer.
